Mission VVEWR
 
Maintain a group of Equine Veterinarians throughout the state of Virginia who are trained in equine veterinary forensics. This group will then act as a resource for Animal Control Officers and their training, Commonwealth attorney’s and other equine veterinarians in welfare cases within the state. These veterinarians shall be 
1.    Licensed in the state of Virginia 
2.    In good standing with the Virginia Board of Veterinary Medicine 
3.    Have practical equine experience such that they can be considered an expert witness in equine veterinary medicine.
